VoiceThread in the classroom

Personal Finance class is using VoiceThread to create their final project - a personal financial plan. Hopefully I will have some samples of student work here soon.

Digital Storytelling course is over!

Good for me, my class is done, got an "A" moving on.  The next challenge will be to keep looking for new tech tools to use in the classroom - when I don't have to.  I'm going to share this blog with some of my colleagues so they can try out some of the cool tools that are out there for educators. Ok - I've gotten past the Comcast fiasco. My project is done and handed in.  I plan on tweaking it later because it really isn't ready to show my administrators.  Here is the link - comment if you want, I can take it.

Dear Comcast,

Why is it that my Internet connection decided to quit on me two hours before my final  project was due? Not nice Comcast. Boo to you Comcast.  So I will be in to see you today, with my old modem and I hope you have what you promised me last night - a new modem, a new router, and a note for my teacher.  The note was a nice touch, thank you for suggesting that. I will say that the person I talked to was fabulous and the language barrier was tolerable.
